The "Geoparks in volcanic regions: Sustainable Development Strategies" Workshop takes place from October 29th to November 1st
2014, at Terceira and Graciosa islands, in the Azores Global Geopark, Portugal.
The public sessions will take place at the headquarters of the "The Montanheiros" Association and Vulcanoespeleológico Fagundes Machado Museum, in Angra do Heroismo (Azores Geopark Delegation on Terceira).
The workshop includes study visits in Graciosa and Terceira islands and optional study visits in Santa Maria and São Miguel islands, on 27 and 28 October, respectively.
